Kifaclin 2.5% Soap may be used alone or with other acne treatments. You should use it as advised by your doctor. Follow the instructions provided in the product leaflet to get the most out of this medicine. Wash and dry the affected area before medicine application. It is usually used once or twice a day. Do not apply it to damaged or broken skin and avoid contact with your mouth, eyes, and nose. It may take several weeks for your symptoms to improve, keep using it as advised. Consult your doctor after a month of regular use of this medicine if your condition is not improving. Kifaclin 2.5% Soap has some common side effects including itching, stinging, peeling, and redness of the skin. They are not usually serious but tell your doctor if they bother you or do not go away. You may need to apply a smaller amount or use it less often. This medicine can make you more sensitive to sunlight. While using it, try to avoid exposure to too much sunlight. If this is unavoidable, apply the medicine in the evening. It can also bleach hair and fabrics including clothes so be careful to avoid contact with these. It is a safe medicine, but you should tell your doctor if you have other skin conditions and if you are using any other medicines, especially those applied to the skin. It may not be suitable if you have very sensitive skin. Ask your doctor about using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Kifaclin 2.5% Soap is an organic compound with keratolytic properties. It releases oxygen when applied on acne, which kills the bacteria and helps cure acne.
You have been prescribed Kifaclin 2.5% Soap for the treatment of acne. Do not apply it on sunburned or damaged skin. Be careful when applying Kifaclin 2.5% Soap to large areas since it can bleach hair, clothing, and furnishings upon contact. It makes the skin more sensitive towards sunlight. Apply it at night time and avoid excessive sun exposure. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. It may cause skin dryness or stinging sensation. In case you experience excessive irritation or allergy, discontinue the medication and consult your doctor.
Before application, remove all makeup and wash the affected area thoroughly and then gently dry. Apply a thin layer of Kifaclin 2.5% Soap cream to the affected skin using your fingertips. Ensure you apply it to the entire affected area, not just individual spots. After applying, wash your hands thoroughly with water.
Initially, use Kifaclin 2.5% Soap only once daily in the evening. The area does not need to be washed off after application, so it can be left overnight unless you experience any irritation. If you experience irritation, consult your doctor.
You should discontinue Kifaclin 2.5% Soap and consult your doctor if you experience severe local irritation, which means severe redness, dryness and itching, stinging or burning sensation.
Use only Kifaclin 2.5% Soap on your skin. Keep it away from areas like eyes, eyelids, lips, mouth and inside of the nose. If the medicine comes in contact with any of these areas, wash the affected area with water immediately. Avoid using Kifaclin 2.5% Soap on scratched or eroded skin and open wounds. Take care when using Kifaclin 2.5% Soap on sensitive areas like your neck. Kifaclin 2.5% Soap can make your skin more sensitive to the harmful effects of sunlight. Therefore, avoid sunbeds/lamps and minimize time spent in the sun. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing while using Kifaclin 2.5% Soap. Avoid contact with hair as Kifaclin 2.5% Soap has bleaching properties. It can even bleach dyed or colored fabric, furniture or carpeting.
The initial dose is best applied once daily in the evening. Your doctor will gradually increase the dosage to twice daily (most probably morning and evening).
You may notice improvement within 4-6 weeks of treatment. You might need to use this treatment for longer to see full benefits. This is normal for acne treatments. If your acne does not improve after one month or gets worse, consult your doctor immediately.
You can apply moisturizer an hour after applying Kifaclin 2.5% Soap. Consult your doctor in case of any doubts or concerns.
