Kenacort Hexa Injection is a steroid that works by decreasing inflammation, slowing down an overactive immune system, or replacing cortisol normally made in the body. It can be taken with or without food and should be taken regularly at the right times to increase its effectiveness. The most common side effects include injection site reactions, reduction in bone density, upset stomach, weight gain, mood changes, and behavioral changes.

You may be at risk of infection, so try to avoid crowds or people with colds and immediately report fever or any other signs of infection to your health care provider. Kenacort Hexa Injection may increase blood pressure; regular monitoring of blood pressure and a low salt diet is recommended. This medicine may exacerbate systemic fungal infections and therefore should not be used in the presence of such infections. It may increase your blood sugar level. If you are diabetic, monitor your levels regularly. Do not receive any kind of immunization or vaccination without your doctor’s approval while taking Kenacort Hexa Injection.
