Kaypen 250 Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, like, infections of the throat, ear, nasal sinuses, respiratory tract, skin, and soft tissues. It is also used in the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis. Kaypen 250 Tablet is also used to prevent some infections such as rheumatic fever. It is a penicillin-type of antibiotic which mainly fights and stops the growth of the gram-positive type of bacteria. This tablet should be swallowed empty stomach with a glass of water. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Kaypen 250 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Kaypen 250 Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

You have been prescribed Kaypen 250 Tablet for the treatment of bacterial infections. Finish the prescribed course even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.
