Kalox-K2 Soft Gel Capsule is a combination of Calcitriol, Calcium Carbonate, and Vitamin K2-7. It raises Vitamin D levels in your blood, which in turn raises calcium levels in your blood by helping you absorb more calcium from your intestine. Calcium carbonate is a dietary supplement used when the amount of calcium taken in the diet is not enough. Vitamin K2-7 plays a central role in the metabolism of calcium, the main mineral found in your bones and teeth. Vitamin K2-7 activates the calcium-binding actions of two proteins: matrix GLA protein and osteocalcin, which help to build and maintain bone health.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Kalox-K2 Soft Gel Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications like for bone disorders, antihypertensives, antibiotics, antacids, other calcium supplements, or medicines for heart disease. Include calcium-rich food in your diet like milk, cheese, yogurt, calcium-fortified soya milk, and green leafy vegetables like spinach. Inform your doctor if you are taking an iron supplement as the absorption rate might be affected.
