K Canazole 2% Cream belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It is used to treat fungal infections of the skin. It works by killing the fungus that causes infections such as athlete's foot, thrush and ringworm.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.
K Canazole 2% Cream is an antifungal medication. It kills and stops the growth of the fungi by destroying its cell membrane thereby treating your skin infection.
Keep your feet clean and dry, particularly between the toes. Cut your nails short and prefer open-toe shoes for everyday use. Use a separate clean towel for the feet and wear clean cotton socks. Never share your socks, shoes, and towel with others. Inform your doctor if the infection has not cleared up after 4 weeks of treatment.
K Canazole 2% Cream is used to treat skin infections caused by fungi such as athlete's foot, jock itch, sweat rash (infected with a yeast), and candida infections of the skin and nails. It rapidly relieves itching caused by these fungal infections.

Common side effects include burning, redness, and itching at the application site. Uncommon side effects may include discomfort, dryness, bleeding, severe allergic reactions (like hives), rash, skin exfoliation, sticky skin, prickling sensation, or inflammation.
It is recommended to use a mild steroid ointment like hydrocortisone cream/ointment in the morning and K Canazole 2% Cream in the evening. Gradually stop using the steroid cream after 2-3 weeks, but if you have used potent corticosteroids for seborrheic dermatitis, wait at least two weeks before applying K Canazole 2% Cream to prevent skin sensitization.
Wash the affected area thoroughly with water and then dry it. Wash your hands carefully (until and unless your hands are also affected) after applying K Canazole 2% Cream to prevent the infection from spreading to other parts of the body or others.
Use K Canazole 2% Cream for as long as advised by your doctor. Generally, it is used for 2-4 weeks for jock itch and sweat rash and 2-6 weeks for athlete's foot. Do not stop using it even if your symptoms have disappeared because the infection may reappear if not properly treated.
If you forget to use K Canazole 2% Cream, don't worry and continue using it as soon as you remember. However, consult your doctor if you have any doubts.
