Medicines containing acetaminophen
Jemnac-MR Tablet is a combination of two pain relieving medicines (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol) and a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone). The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation. The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm thereby improving muscle movement.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Jemnac-MR Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage. Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling as a result of taking Jemnac-MR Tablet. Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.
Jemnac-MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. This medication helps relieve muscle pain by relaxing affected muscles, reducing pain caused by muscle spasm, cramp, or injury, and lowering certain chemical substances in the body that cause pain.
To reduce muscle pain, it is recommended to take rest, especially if the pain is caused by muscle injury or overuse. Additionally, ensure you get plenty of sleep, reduce stress, and apply ice packs to the affected area to help relieve pain and inflammation. If the pain is caused by an underlying disease, follow your doctor's advice.
No, there are no reported cases of patients becoming addicted to Jemnac-MR Tablet.
Jemnac-MR Tablet is typically used for short-term relief and can be discontinued once the pain subsides. However, it is recommended to continue taking the medication if advised to do so by your doctor.
Yes, Jemnac-MR Tablet may cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) in some patients. If you experience dizziness, it is recommended to rest for a while and resume taking the medication once you feel better.
Jemnac-MR Tablet contains Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone, which can cause liver damage when taken in doses above the recommended level. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medication, as it may increase the risk of liver damage. Patients with underlying liver disease should use this medication with caution and consult their doctor immediately if they notice any signs or symptoms of liver damage, such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or abnormal liver enzymes.
It may take about an hour to notice the initial benefits of pain relief after taking Jemnac-MR Tablet.
If you miss a dose of Jemnac-MR Tablet and it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose as usual. If you remember the missed dose later, take it as soon as you remember, but do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose. Consult your doctor if you are unsure about how to manage a missed dose.
No, taking higher than the recommended dose of Jemnac-MR Tablet may not be more effective and may increase the risk of serious side effects and toxicity. If you experience increased severity of symptoms that are not relieved by the recommended doses, consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
