It works by lowering the heart rate, which reduces the oxygen requirement of the heart, thereby making it work more efficiently. This helps relieve chest pain and decreases the risk of hospitalization in heart failure patients. Common side effects include temporary brightness in vision, slow heart rate, high blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, dizziness, blurred vision, and ECG changes. Some side effects, such as fainting and significant changes to your heartbeat, may require urgent medical attention. Avoid driving until you know how this medicine affects you. Do not use this medicine if you have severe liver disease, a low resting heart rate, or a heart rhythm disorder. It is also not suitable for those with very low blood pressure and worsening heart failure. Ivanode OD 10 Tablet PR interacts with certain other medications used to treat high blood pressure, fungal infections, and HIV. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
