IV Dox Injection is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Vitamin C. Doxycycline is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Vitamin C is necessary for the growth, development, and repair of all body tissues.
Drink plenty of water while taking this medicine Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking IV Dox Injection as they make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine This medicine may cause your skin to become more sensitive to sunlight than usual. Try to avoid strong sunlight, wear long sleeves, and use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) when you are outdoors Inform your doctor if you have a history of asthma or stomach ulcers IV Dox Injection may stop the oral typhoid vaccine from working. If you are having any vaccinations, make sure the person treating you knows that you are taking this medicine
