Itra 200mg Capsule should be taken in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It should be swallowed whole and can be taken with food. To get the most benefit, take this medicine at evenly spaced times and continue using it until your prescription is finished, even if your symptoms disappear after a few days. If you stop the treatment too early, the infection may return and if you miss doses, you can increase your risk of infections that are resistant to further treatment. Tell your doctor if the infection does not get better or if it gets worse.

Itra 200mg Capsule is prescribed to treat fungal infections caused by Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., and Epidermophyton floccosum. These include ringworm, foot infections, groin and buttocks infections. It can also be used to treat persistent nail fungal infections, candidiasis (yeast) infections of the vagina or mouth/throat in patients with reduced immune function. The medication is effective against cryptococcal infection and various other infections caused by Histoplasma, Aspergillus, and Blastomyces.
The length of treatment depends on the type and location of the fungal infection, your response to medication, and individual patient factors. For example, if you are treating athlete's foot, the dosage may be taken for up to 30 days. However, candidal infections in the vagina may need treatment from 1 day to 3 days depending on your doctor's guidance.
No, you should not stop taking Itra 200mg Capsule without completing the entire course because doing so may not fully cure fungal infection and allow it to return. Complete treatment can take 6-9 months, as new nail growth takes time for completion.
Your doctor might be monitoring your liver function. Itra 200mg Capsule can cause serious liver damage. Therefore, if you experience loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, dark urine, or abdominal pain while taking Itra 200mg Capsule, inform your doctor immediately.
Itra 200mg Capsule can be taken with an acidic drink such as cola if necessary. Antacid medication should be taken approximately two hours after administration of the Itra 200mg Capsule.
Drug resistance can occur when fungal cells mutate, rendering the medication ineffective. This can happen with certain candida species (krusei, glabrata, and tropicalis). If resistance occurs, Itra 200mg Capsule should not be used for infection caused by these species. Always complete your prescribed course to avoid drug resistance.
Yes, you can take both alprazolam and Itra 200mg Capsule together, but monitor for any side effects like lightheadedness or drowsiness. If such side effects appear after taking Itra 200mg Capsule, discuss it with your doctor who may adjust the dosage of alprazolam.
