Irodam 100mg Injection is given by slow infusion (drip) into a vein by your doctor or nurse. Your doctor will decide the dose you need and how many injections you should have to improve your anemia. It will also help to eat a well-balanced diet that has enough iron. Good sources of iron include pulses (dal), green leafy vegetables like spinach, beans, eggs, dry fruits, and non-vegetarian foods.

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.

Irodam 100mg Injection is prescribed for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia. It is given as a slow injection into veins or as drip under the supervision of a doctor. You may be asked for regular monitoring of iron level in blood while taking this medicine. It may cause dizziness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Inform your doctor if notice shortness of breath, swelling of face, low blood pressure, itching, or rash. You should not have this medicine if your anemia is not caused by a lack of iron. You should not have this medicine if you have rheumatoid arthritis, asthma or other allergies, high blood pressure, or liver problems. It is not known whether this medicine is safe for use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding so please take advice from your doctor. You will have tests to check your blood cells and iron levels, monitor your progress and check for side effects. It may be advisable to limit alcohol during treatment.
