Introduction
Irimist V Injection is a viscoelastic preparation used in eye surgery to support and protect the deeper layers of the eye from damage. It provides a protective barrier shielding delicate eye tissues such as the cornea and lens from potential damage caused by surgical instruments and acts as a lubricant reducing friction and facilitating smoother movements during the surgery. It is well-tolerated and does not usually cause any side effects, but in some patients, it may cause a transient rise in intraocular pressure after the surgery.
