Intracet 400mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and memory loss in Parkinson's disease. It can also be used to treat age-related memory loss and head injury. It works by improving communication between the nerve cells and protects the brain.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Intracet 400mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Intracet 400mg Tablet is a nootropic medicine. It works by increasing the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) which improves communication between the nerve cells. It also protects the brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen.
May cause dizziness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Inform your doctor if you have bleeding problems or if you are on medications that help thin your blood. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you experience stomach pain, diarrhea, and vomiting. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor.
Do not stop taking Intracet 400mg Tablet on your own. Stopping it suddenly may lead to unwanted effects like twitching and jerking movements. Consult your doctor, who may suggest a slow reduction of the dose if the medication does not improve your symptoms.
You should not take Intracet 400mg Tablet if you have a known allergy to it or any of its ingredients, if your kidney functions are severely impaired, or if you've ever had a localized brain bleeding (cerebral hemorrhage). Additionally, avoid taking this medicine if you're suffering from Huntington's disease/chorea.
Intracet 400mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water, and do not break or chew them. If you have difficulty swallowing, inform your doctor as soon as possible.
