Inspiral 5mg Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (a behavioral disorder in children marked by poor concentration, hyperactivity, and learning difficulties).

Dosage Form

Introduction

Inspiral 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level in the blood. If you miss any doses, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medication mustn't be stopped suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Inspiral 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol Warning

Inspiral 5mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Breastfeeding Warning

Inspiral 5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Pregnancy Warning

Inspiral 5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby.

Interacting Medicines

Inspiral 5mg Tablet is a CNS stimulant. It works by improving the activity of certain parts of the brain by increasing the levels of certain chemicals (norepinephrine and dopamine)

It has high habit-forming potential. Do not take more than prescribed. Take it early in the morning to prevent insomnia later that night. Monitor your blood pressure regularly. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Inspiral 5mg Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness. It can cause a loss of appetite which can slow growth rate especially in children. Monitor your child’s height and weight regularly while taking this medicine. Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts. Do not stop taking medicine without talking to your doctor first.
