Frequently asked questions
What is Innerve 1500mcg Injection?
Innerve 1500mcg Injection contains vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is essential for making red blood cells and maintaining a healthy nervous system. It also helps release energy from food and utilize vitamin B11 (folic acid).
Why might I not get enough vitamin B12 through my diet?
While getting sufficient amounts of Vitamin B12 is generally done through consuming meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products, people who are vegetarian or vegan may not be able to obtain this vitamin as it's not naturally found in fruits, vegetables, or grains. Therefore, a lack of adequate Vitamin B12 might be seen in vegetarians and vegans.
What happens if I have a deficiency in vitamin B12?
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (a condition where red blood cells are larger than normal). It can also cause nerve problems like numbness and tingling in the hands and feet. Other possible symptoms include balance problems, depression, confusion, dementia, impaired memory, sore mouth or tongue.
Is Innerve 1500mcg Injection safe?
Innerve 1500mcg Injection is generally well tolerated and considered safe. However, rare side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, and rash may occur. If a rash occurs during treatment, discontinue use immediately.
How should Innerve 1500mcg Injection be administered?
Innerve 1500mcg Injection can be injected either into a vein (intravenously) or a muscle (intramuscularly). The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Innerve 1500mcg Injection), given three times per week. After two months, the dosage becomes 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Innerve 1500mcg Injection) every one to three months as part of ongoing maintenance therapy.
What precautions should I take when administering Innerve 1500mcg Injection?
It's important to avoid injecting at the same site repeatedly. If you experience intense pain or if the blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-inject it at a different location.
