The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation.

Frequently asked questions
What is Infazox Tablet?
Infazox Tablet contains Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. These medicines work together to relieve muscle pain. Chlorzoxazone acts on the central nervous system as a muscle relaxant. Diclofenac and Paracetamol lower the chemical prostaglandins in the body, which contribute to pain and inflammation.
Is Infazox Tablet safe for me?
Infazox Tablet is generally considered safe for most patients. However, some individuals may experience common side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dryness in the mouth, weakness, and sleepiness. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience persistent problems related to this medication.
Can I stop taking Infazox Tablet when my pain is relieved?
You should continue Infazox Tablet as prescribed by your doctor unless it's for short-term pain relief. It may be discontinued if your pain has subsided.
Can the use of Infazox Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, Infazox Tablet can induce nausea and vomiting in some individuals. If you experience nausea, take it with food or milk, and avoid eating fatty or fried foods. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of fluids by taking small frequent sips. It is important to consult your doctor if the vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration such as dark-colored urine and infrequent urination.
Can the use of Infazox Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, Infazox Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy, it's best to rest until your feeling better.
Can the use of Infazox Tablet cause kidney damage?
Long-term use of Infazox Tablet can potentially damage kidneys. Prostaglandins are a chemical that protects the kidneys from damage in normal function. Painkillers lower the levels of prostaglandins, which may lead to kidney damage over time. Individuals with pre-existing kidney problems should not use this medication.
Can I take more than the recommended dose?
Taking a higher dose of Infazox Tablet increases the risk of side effects. If you experience increased pain or if your pain is not relieved by the prescribed doses, consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
What are the recommended storage conditions for Infazox Tablet?
