Imoxtreat KT Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Ketorolac and Moxifloxacin which treat eye infections. Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the eye. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing.
Use it twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after putting the medication. Do not wear contact lenses until your infection clears up. Along with using Imoxtreat KT Eye Drop, give a warm compress to your eyes to get relief from itching and burning sensation.
Imoxtreat KT Eye Drop typically starts working shortly after application. However, it may take a few days for the medication to fully clear bacteria and provide relief.
No, do not discontinue Imoxtreat KT Eye Drop application once you start feeling better. It is crucial to complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve, as this helps ensure that all harmful bacteria are eliminated.
