Ilafos 10mg Tablet is a medicine that reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach. It is used for treating acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine such as acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and some other stomach conditions associated with excessive acid production.

Ilafos 10mg Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn. It is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may be seen with the prolonged use of painkillers. This medicine should be taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ilafos 10mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
The most common side effects observed with this medicine include nausea, headache, flatulence, and diarrhea.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Ilafos 10mg Tablet.

Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days Inform your doctor if you develop decreased urination Inform your doctor if you develop edema (swelling due to fluid retention) Inform your doctor if you develop lower back pain Inform your doctor if you develop nausea Inform your doctor if you develop fatigue Inform your doctor if you develop rash or fever
