It is recommended to start with the lowest dose and increase if you need to, but do not exceed the maximum daily dose. You should not use this medicine for more than the recommended days unless your doctor tells you to. Some lifestyle changes can help with constipation, for example drinking plenty of fluids, exercise regularly, eating more fiber-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, and cereals.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Iglax Suspension is to be taken empty stomach.
The most common side effects of taking this medicine are vomiting, stomach pain, and nausea. These are usually mild and go away after a couple of days.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Iglax Suspension. Please consult your doctor.
Iglax Suspension is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Iglax Suspension may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Iglax Suspension is a laxative. It works by increasing the movement of the intestines thereby facilitating the passage of stool.
Take Iglax Suspension after 2 hours from other medicines as it may interfere with the absorption of other medicines. Iglax Suspension should be preferably taken at bedtime because it requires 6 to 8 hours to show impact. Avoid taking a Iglax Suspension for more than 1 week unless prescribed by the doctor as it leads to dependency on the laxative action to produce a bowel movement.
