How it works
Ifomid M 400mg/2gm Injection is a combination of two medicines: Mesna and Ifosfamide. Mesna is an anti-cancer medication that works by damaging the genetic material (DNA) of the cancer cells and stops their growth and multiplication. Ifosfamide is a cytoprotective medicine which is added to reduce the risk of bleeding and swelling in the bladder caused by Mesna.

If you are taking Ifomid M 400mg/2gm Injection, you may be at risk of infection so try to avoid crowds or people with colds and report fever or any other signs of infection immediately to your doctor. Drink at least two to three quarts of fluid every 24 hours unless you are instructed otherwise. To reduce nausea, take anti-nausea medications as prescribed by your doctor and eat small, frequent meals.
