IFB 12 syrup is a combination medication containing Ferrous ammonium citrate (Iron), Folic Acid (vitamin B9), and Vitamin B12. Folic acid is essential for numerous bodily functions, including nucleotide biosynthesis and homocysteine remethylation. Iron transports oxygen throughout the body and maintains red blood cells, while Vitamin B12 promotes blood cell initiation and maturation, supporting pregnancy.
