Icepan-DSR Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux), dyspepsia (indigestion), and gastritis. It helps treat these conditions by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, thereby relieving symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. The medication is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid in the stomach, helping to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn. While effective, it is important to use this medication under the guidance of a healthcare provider due to potential side effects and interactions with other drugs.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Icepan-DSR Capsule is to be taken on an empty stomach.
