Short Description

Hydroquin 400mg Tablet is used to treat autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus, and to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Introduction

Hydroquin 400mg Tablet is a Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatoid Drug (DMARD) that works by suppressing the overactivity of the immune system that causes inflammation (swelling) and pain in the joints. It is also used to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hydroquin 400mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach. It can take 8-12 weeks for Hydroquin 400mg Tablet to work. Keep taking it as prescribed. Do not take medicines that neutralise stomach acids (antacids) four hours before and after taking Hydroquin 400mg Tablet. Have regular eye tests done while taking this medicine. It can cause lowering of blood glucose level.
