Hydrocort Injection belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. It is used to treat a variety of diseases and conditions such as severe allergic reactions, allergic conditions, cancer, and skin and eye disorders. It is used for the treatment of conditions that need a quick response.

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.

Hydrocort Injection is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.

Do not use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor. Do not stop using Hydrocort Injection suddenly without talking to your doctor first as it may worsen your symptoms. Hydrocort Injection can make it harder for you to fight off infections. Notify your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as a fever or sore throat. Side effects such as mood changes or stomach problems can happen when you start taking Hydrocort Injection. Inform your doctor if this bothers you.
