Introduction
Huflox-RC Oral Suspension is given to children to treat the symptoms of acute diarrhea and dysentery caused due to bacterial infections. It kills the diarrhea-causing microorganism, restores the level of water and electrolytes, and reduces the symptoms, severity, and duration of illness.
Directions for Use
Use Huflox-RC Oral Suspension together with an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to provide adequate fluid and electrolyte replacement.

How it works
Huflox-RC Oral Suspension contains three medicines: Ofloxacin, Ornidazole, and Racecadotril. These ingredients work together to effectively treat diarrhea and dysentery. Racecadotril reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine, while Ofloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and causing infection. Ornidazole kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA.
Quick Tips
Use Huflox-RC Oral Suspension together with an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to provide adequate fluid and electrolyte replacement. Give your child plenty of fluids to replenish water and mineral loss. Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help if you experience an altered taste. Do not mix Huflox-RC Oral Suspension with any other herbal or ayurvedic medicine. Do not give Huflox-RC Oral Suspension if your child has persistent uncontrolled vomiting.
