Introduction

Homatropine Eye Drop is used to dilate the pupil of the eye for examination and to treat uveitis. It acts by enlarging the pupil of the eyes and helps the doctor visualize the eye more closely. It reduces redness and swelling in the eyes after cataract surgery. It is also used to relieve eye inflammation (redness and swelling) and infection. It is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Refrain from touching the tip of the dropper to any surface to avoid contaminating the eye drops.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Side Effects

Burning and stinging sensation immediately after application

Homatropine Eye Drop is used to dilate or enlarge the pupil of the eye so that the doctor can examine the back of the eyeball. It may also be used to reduce pain in certain eye conditions.
