It has also been suggested that hydroxychloroquine may increase insulin sensitivity and improve beta-cell function thereby improving glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach. Do not take medicines that neutralise stomach acids (antacids) four hours before and after taking Hetquenil 300 Tablet as they can stop the medicine from being absorbed properly from your gut.
