Hetmor 5mg Injection is a combination of two amino acids which works by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals) thus preventing liver damage.
You will be regularly monitored for blood creatinine and blood/urine urea levels. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
It is not recommended to take alcohol while on Hetmor 5mg Injection. Although there may be no reported interactions, it is essential to avoid alcohol as it could worsen liver disease complications and potentially exacerbate hepatic encephalopathy symptoms.

Hepatic encephalopathy is a brain disorder caused by increased ammonia levels in the blood due to liver failure. Hetmor 5mg Injection works by detoxifying ammonia from the blood, reducing free ammonia in the body, and thereby helping to decrease abnormal brain function caused by liver failure.
Hetmor 5mg Injection can be given daily as an intravenous injection. The appropriate dose will be determined by your doctor based on your individual health condition and the severity of your disease.
