Hemolock Rapid Gel is for external use only. It should be directly applied on the affected area. Before using this medicine, you should read the label. You should use it in a dose and duration as advised by your doctor. This medicine works by stopping oozing of blood. It activates thrombin which promotes clot formation. It also combines with blood proteins to form a gel-like substance that covers and protects the wound surface which further helps in stoppage of bleeding. The common side effects include irritation at the application site. If the symptoms persist, please consult your doctor. Do not use it if you have known allergies from this medicine.
