HAVpur Junior Vaccine is a safe and effective vaccine given as 2 shots, 6 months apart. Both shots are needed for long-term protection. It is used to prevent hepatitis A infection, a liver disease that spreads through food or water containing hepatitis A virus or by direct contact with an infected person.

HAVpur Junior Vaccine is an inactivated vaccine (made from a dead virus). It helps develop immunity by forming antibodies which are proteins that protect against infection caused by viruses present in the vaccine.
