Happi XT 20 mg/75 mg Tablet is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcer disease by relieving symptoms such as heartburn, indigestion, and stomach pain.

Happi XT 20 mg/75 mg Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are nausea, stomach pain, constipation, flatulence, diarrhea, headache, flu-like symptoms, and weakness. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any side effects. To overcome constipation, you should add fibre-rich foods in your diet and stay hydrated. It may also cause dizziness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your dizziness. Lifestyle modifications like having cold milk and avoiding hot tea, coffee, spicy food or chocolate can help you to get better results. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Happi XT 20 mg/75 mg Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Zinc Carnosine is a nutritional supplement that speeds up the healing of ulcers in the stomach and intestine.

Happi XT 20 mg/75 mg Tablet is prescribed to get relief from acidity, heartburn, and other discomfort associated with acid reflux and peptic ulcer disease. Avoid taking soft drinks and citrus fruits like orange and lemon, which can irritate the stomach and increase acid secretion. Do not take other indigestion remedies (antacids) without consulting your doctor. Incorporate lifestyle changes such as eating regular meals, drinking plenty of water, avoiding spicy and fatty fried food, losing weight if obese, quitting smoking, and not drinking too much alcohol. Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for some time for better digestion.
