Hydroxychloroquine (300mg)
H-Quine 300 Tablet is used to treat autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus, and also in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control.

H-Quine 300 Tablet is a Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatoid Drug (DMARD) that works by suppressing the overactivity of the immune system that causes inflammation (swelling) and pain in the joints. It is also used in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control. It slows the progression of the underlying disease and relieves pain, swelling, and redness.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. H-Quine 300 Tablet is to be taken with food.

H-Quine 300 Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
H-Quine 300 Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.

It has also been suggested that hydroxychloroquine may increase insulin sensitivity and improve beta-cell function thereby improving glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach. Do not take medicines that neutralise stomach acids (antacids) four hours before and after taking H-Quine 300 Tablet as they can stop the medicine from being absorbed properly from your gut. Have regular eye tests done while taking this medicine. Stop taking it and inform your doctor immediately if you notice any changes in your vision.
