Grandmox 375mg Tablet is an antibiotic that helps your body fight infections caused by bacteria. It is used to treat infections of the lungs (e.g., pneumonia), ear, nasal sinus, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue. It will not work for viral infections such as the common cold. It is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Grandmox 375mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Taking probiotics along with Grandmox 375mg Tablet may help. Talk to your doctor if you notice bloody stools or develop abdominal cramps. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Grandmox 375mg Tablet. Stop taking Grandmox 375mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue, or breathing difficulties while taking it. Do not use leftover medicine for treating any infection in the future. Always consult your doctor before taking any antibiotic. Stick to simple meals, avoid rich or spicy food, and drink plenty of water while taking Grandmox 375mg Tablet.
