Short Description

Grafsporin 100mg Tablet is used to prevent the body from rejecting a new organ after a liver, kidney, heart transplant, or bone marrow transplantation. It weakens the immune system so that your body does not attack the new organ. It is also used to treat nephrotic syndrome, severe rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriasis.

Introduction

The amount of Grafsporin 100mg Tablet you take depends on your weight, medical condition, and what you are being treated for. Your doctor will plan the correct dose for you. Do not change the dose without talking to your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. It is better to take it in the same way and at the same time every day to get the maximum benefit. Keep taking it for as long as you have been told to, even if you feel well. Stopping treatment may increase the risk of your transplanted organ being rejected.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Grafsporin 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side Effects

The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, unusual growth of facial or body hair, high blood pressure, diarrhea, gingival hyperplasia, and tremors.

Alcohol Warning

Consuming alcohol with Grafsporin 100mg Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.

Breastfeeding Warning

Grafsporin 100mg Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.

Pregnancy Warning

Grafsporin 100mg Tablet is an immunosuppressant. It works by suppressing your body’s immune response to help accept a newly transplanted organ (e.g. liver, kidney, or heart). In rheumatoid arthritis, this immunosuppressive effect reduces inflammation (swelling) of joints and limits joint damage. In psoriasis, it works by reducing the activity of certain immune cells that cause overproduction of skin cells, thus improving scaling and redness.

Grafsporin 100mg Tablet is used to prevent organ rejection in transplant patients. It is also used to treat arthritis and immune disorders of the eyes, lungs, muscles, skin, nerves, and blood vessels. It may take 3 to 4 months for the medication to work. Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to check the levels of blood cells in your blood. Your doctor may monitor your kidney function regularly. Do not stop taking Grafsporin 100mg Tablet without talking to your doctor first.
