Respicap
Glynium Respicap is an anticholinergic medication used for long-term management of airflow obstruction in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It works by blocking the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) in the brain. Your doctor will tell you how often you need to use Glynium Respicap. It is important that you take the lowest dose needed to effectively control your symptoms. The effect of this medicine may be noticeable after a few days but will only reach its maximum after a few weeks. This medicine must be used regularly to be effective, so continue using it even if you do not have any symptoms. If you stop taking it, your symptoms of COPD may get worse.
Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use.

Glynium Respicap is used for long-term management of airflow obstruction in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Take the first dose of this medicine under medical supervision as it may cause wheezing or tightening of the airways (bronchospasm) immediately after using. Avoid getting this medication into your eyes. It may cause eye pain/irritation, temporary blurred vision, and other vision changes. Inform your doctor if you have difficulty passing urine or have painful urination.
No, Glynium Respicap is not a steroid. It belongs to a class of medicines called bronchodilators that are used to widen the airway of the respiratory tract. These medications help ease breathing difficulties in patients with breathing problems caused by certain types of lung disease like obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
The duration of treatment depends on the severity and type of the condition. For chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a long-term condition, it's important to take this medicine daily as prescribed by your doctor to prevent attacks of breathing difficulties. It should be taken consistently even when you don't have breathing problems or other symptoms of COPD.
Inhalational Glynium Respicap can lead to urinary retention and difficulty urinating in older individuals, especially men with enlarged prostates or benign prostate enlargement. This condition can cause difficulties urinating, including painful urination, frequent urination, dribbling, or a feeling of incomplete emptying. If you experience any such symptoms before or during treatment, it's important to notify your doctor.
