Gitranox 200mg Capsule is used to treat fungal infections caused by Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., and Epidermophyton floccosum. For instance, if you are taking Gitranox 200mg Capsule for athlete’s foot (fungal infection of the skin on the feet and between the toes), the dosage may require a 30-day course. However, for candidal infections of the vagina, the dose might span from 1 day to 3 days depending on the doctor's recommendations.
No, you should not stop taking Gitranox 200mg Capsule without completing the entire course because doing so may not completely cure the fungal infection. It typically takes around 6-9 months for nail lesions to disappear, as after removing the fungus, new nails take several months to grow. Don't worry if you don’t see any improvement during treatment.
Your doctor may want to check your liver function while taking Gitranox 200mg Capsule. Gitranox 200mg Capsule can cause serious liver damage, so if you experience loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, dark urine, or abdominal pain during treatment, inform your doctor immediately.

If you are on antacid medication, take your Gitranox 200mg Capsule capsules with a drink of cola.
