Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Genericart Ramipril+Hydrochlorothiazide 5mg/12.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night to urinate. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down to lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out. Inform your doctor about any cough or throat irritation that doesn't go away. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth. Your doctor may regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function and the levels of salts such as potassium in your blood while you are taking this medicine.
