Fusi CP Cream is a combination medicine used to treat various types of skin infections, minimizing symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching.
Cream
Fusi CP Cream is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. A thin layer of the medicine should be applied only to the affected areas of the skin with clean and dry hands. Wash your hands before and after applying the medicine. If it gets into your eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina rinse with water. It may take several days to weeks for your symptoms to improve, but you should keep using this medicine regularly. The course of the treatment should be completed to ensure better efficacy of the medicine. If your condition does not improve or gets worse, you should talk to your doctor.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.
Fusi CP Cream is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasol and Fusidic Acid. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Fusidic Acid is an antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Do not use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor. Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor. Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after two weeks of treatment. Do not use it for longer than prescribed as prolonged or repeated use can cause the skin to become over-sensitive to the medicine and may also result in the bacteria becoming resistant to the antibiotic.
Use Fusi CP Cream exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Apply a thin layer of cream to cover the affected area, and follow the recommended dosage schedule. Wash your hands after using the cream unless it's being used to treat an infection on the hands. Avoid contact with the eyes.
Avoid applying Fusi CP Cream to sensitive areas, such as the face, or in areas where you have a fungal or viral infection, like ringworm, athlete's foot, herpes, or chickenpox. Do not cover the treated area with a bandage or dressing, as this can increase absorption and side effects. Only use the cream for its intended purpose and do not share it with others.
No, complete the full course of treatment recommended by your doctor, even if you start to feel better. Stopping too soon can lead to incomplete recovery or recurrence of the infection.
Store Fusi CP Cream in its original packaging, tightly closed, according to the instructions on the label. Dispose of any unused medicine responsibly, making sure it's not accessible to pets, children, or others.
Using Fusi CP Cream in excess or for an extended duration can cause skin thinning and weakening at the application site, leading to visible veins. It may also result in increased hair growth and absorption into the bloodstream, potentially causing weight gain, high blood pressure, and facial rounding.
Fusi CP Cream is not suitable for patients with a known allergy to its components or excipients. It's also contraindicated in cases of fungal infections (ringworm, athlete's foot), viral infections (herpes, chickenpox), and certain skin conditions like acne or rosacea.
