Fruselac Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Furosemide and Spironolactone. Furosemide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also reduces blood pressure and enables heart to pump efficiently. Spironolactone is also a diuretic which conserves potassium thereby balancing its levels in the body.
Fruselac Tablet helps removes excess water from your body. Take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night to urinate. It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It may cause excessive urine production, dehydration, and low electrolyte levels. Notify your doctor if you experience dizziness, tiredness, or muscle weakness that doesn't go away.
Store this medicine in its original container or package, keeping it tightly closed. Refer to the instructions on the packaging label for specific storage guidance and follow these guidelines when disposing of any unused portions. Ensure that this medication is not accessible by pets, children, or other people.
Fruselac Tablet should not be used in patients who have an allergy to furosemide, sulfonylureas, or spironolactone, or any other component of the product. It is also contraindicated for patients with anuria (absence of urine production), acute renal insufficiency (kidney dysfunction), hepatic coma and pre-coma (liver dysfunction) , hypotension (low blood pressure), cardiac arrhythmias, and those taking aminoglycosides or cephalosporins. Additionally, Fruselac Tablet should be avoided in individuals with pre-existing kidney dysfunction caused by medications that can cause renal damage. It is not recommended for patients with hyperkalemia (high potassium levels) or Addison's disease. Finally, use of this medication should be restricted in children with moderate to severe renal impairment.
Fruselac Tablet combines furosemide (a loop diuretic) and spironolactone (an aldosterone antagonist). These medications work together to remove excess fluid from the body. The combination is used in patients with congestive heart failure, nephrotic syndrome, liver cirrhosis with fluid retention, and ascites.
Fruselac Tablet is generally considered safe for most individuals. However, some patients may experience common side effects like dizziness, dehydration, low blood sodium levels, breast enlargement in males, decreased magnesium and calcium levels in the blood, and increased uric acid levels. If you experience any persistent problems while taking this medication, consult your healthcare provider immediately.

If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is best to rest until your symptoms subside before resuming your activities. Avoid driving or operating machinery while experiencing these symptoms.
Yes, Fruselac Tablet can contribute to the development of gout. Furosemide in this medication increases blood uric acid levels by enhancing its absorption from the kidneys. This increase in uric acid levels can lead to gout attacks. Inform your doctor if you have a history of gout or are hyperuricemic (excessively high levels of uric acid in your bloodstream) before using this medication.
