FP 10 Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach, preferably at the same time every day, ideally at night. The dosage and frequency depend on the condition being treated, as determined by your doctor. Lifestyle modifications such as avoiding stress, smoking, and processed foods may enhance the effectiveness of this medicine. Common side effects include weight gain, slow heart rate, tiredness, depression, drowsiness, and cold extremities. It may cause sleepiness, so avoid driving or activities requiring mental focus. Monitor blood sugar and blood pressure regularly. Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease, depression, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Also, disclose all other medications you are taking, as they may affect the efficacy of FP 10 Tablet.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. FP 10 Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

FP 10 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Propranolol and Flunarizine, which prevent migraine. Propranolol is a beta blocker and Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work by stabilizing reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold to migraine activation. They also inhibit cortical spreading depression (CSD), which are electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation.

You have been prescribed FP 10 Tablet for prevention of migraine headaches. Do not take it to treat an acute attack of migraine. Some tips that may help avoid a migraine attack: Have your meals at the same time every day, avoid bright lights and extreme temperatures, avoid loud music and noisy places, avoid chocolates, cheese, processed food, alcohol, and smoking, get sufficient sleep and avoid stress. It should be taken at night-time before going to bed. It may cause sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how FP 10 Tablet affects you. Keep taking it regularly every day even if you don't have any symptoms.
