Introduction

Foswin Tablet should be taken with food. Take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on the severity of your condition. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly. Take it for as long as the doctor has prescribed for maximum benefits.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Foswin Tablet is to be taken with food.

Foswin Tablet contains calcium acetate that binds with the phosphate in the food you eat so that it gets eliminated from the body without being absorbed. In this way, high levels of phosphate in the blood are reduced.

Ask your doctor before using an antacid containing calcium while taking this medicine Do not take additional calcium supplements unless your doctor has told you to while on treatment with Foswin Tablet If you are on thyroid medication, take this medicine 4 hours before or 4 hours after you take the thyroid medicine Avoid taking any antibiotics along with Foswin Tablet. You may give a gap of 1-2 hours between the medicines
