If the child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, repeat the same dose but do not double the dose if it is time for the next dose. Never change the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor since these depend upon the type and severity of the infection, the child's age, and body weight.

How it works
Forlox MS Oral Suspension is a combination of three active ingredients. While two of its ingredients, namely ofloxacin and metronidazole, are antibiotics, simethicone is a gas-absorbing agent that improves gastric tolerability of the combination. The antibiotic ingredients interfere with the genetic material of bacteria by impairing its DNA. This kills the infection-causing bacteria, preventing its growth and stopping the infection. On the other hand, Simethicone binds with the gas bubbles produced as a result of the other two ingredients or as a result of some other problem. By doing so, it aids in the removal of gases and provides relief in stomach pain and bloating.

An accidental extra dose of Forlox MS Oral Suspension is unlikely to cause harm. However, if you suspect an overdose, consult a doctor immediately. Overdose symptoms may include seizures, tremors, severe headaches, sudden weakness, blood cell abnormalities, and irregular heartbeat.
My child's condition isn't improving despite taking Forlox MS Oral Suspension as directed – what should I do?
If your child shows no improvement after the prescribed duration of treatment with Forlox MS Oral Suspension, consult their doctor. They may prescribe an alternative antibiotic that is more effective against the infection-causing bacteria.

Why does my child's urine appear red-brown after starting Forlox MS Oral Suspension?
The active ingredient metronidazole in Forlox MS Oral Suspension can cause red-brown urine, which is a side effect rather than an indication of illness. This discoloration typically subsides once the treatment is completed.
