Oral Suspension
Forlox MS Oral Suspension is a combination of three active ingredients. It is given to children orally, preferably at a fixed time, either before or after meals. In case the child develops a stomach upset, it is better to give it with meals. Generally, this medicine is prescribed to be given two times a day, in the morning and evening. If the child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, repeat the same dose but do not double the dose if it is time for the next dose. Never change the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor since these depend upon the type and severity of the infection, the child's age, and body weight.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Forlox MS Oral Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Forlox MS Oral Suspension is a combination of three active ingredients. While two of its ingredients, namely ofloxacin and metronidazole, are antibiotics, simethicone is a gas-absorbing agent that improves gastric tolerability of the combination. The antibiotic ingredients interfere with the genetic material of bacteria by impairing its DNA. This kills the infection-causing bacteria, preventing its growth and stopping the infection. On the other hand, Simethicone binds with the gas bubbles produced as a result of the other two ingredients or as a result of some other problem. By doing so, it aids in the removal of gases and provides relief in stomach pain and bloating.
