Introduction

Folinow NVP Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Doxylamine, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), L-Methyl Folate Calcium, and Methylcobalamin. It treats nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy. Doxylamine is an antihistamine that works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) thereby controlling nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is a form of vitamin B that possesses anti-nausea properties. L-Methyl Folate Calcium and Methylcobalamin provide essential nutrients. It should be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Check the label before use.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Folinow NVP Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side Effects

Folinow NVP Tablet helps treat nausea and vomiting in pregnant women. Do not take Folinow NVP Tablet with other sedating medications such as those for cough and cold as the combination could worsen dizziness leading to falls or other accidents. Avoid becoming overheated or dehydrated during exercise and in hot weather. This is because Folinow NVP Tablet can decrease sweating and you may be more prone to heat stroke.
