Introduction

Folibless tablet is a dietary supplement that contains L-Methylfolate and Folic Acid. L-Methylfolate is used for the dietary management of low blood cell folate levels in certain patients. Folic Acid is proven to reduce the risk of neural tube defects (NTDs) and birth defects. Many people are unable to fully convert regular folic acid to L-methylfolate, resulting in a significant reduction in the amount of L-methylfolate made available to the body, which can limit the ability to build and maintain healthy reserves of folic acid and increase the risk of birth defects. L-Methylfolate is also proven to lower levels of homocysteine, an amino acid linked to cardiovascular disease and pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia, low birth weight, miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss, and placental abruption.
