Fol-XT Tablet may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time to avoid missing a dose. This medicine should not be taken in more than the recommended dose. It is usually a safe medicine with very minimal or no side effects. However, if you experience severe diarrhea, vomiting, or constipation, consult your doctor without delay. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any other health conditions. Inform them if you are taking any other medicines or are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advised not to take alcohol after taking this medicine.

Fol-XT Tablet is a combination of vitamins and minerals. L-Methyltetrahydrofolate calcium is a source of folate and an alternative to folic acid. It replenishes the low levels of folate thus treating anemia. Methylcobalamin corrects vitamin B12 deficiency thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate treats or prevents deficiency of vitamin B6 and improves the functioning of the nervous and immune systems.
