Introduction

Flumectin Tablet is a prescription medicine that is advised to take as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food but must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Flumectin Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Flumectin Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Fluconazole and Ivermectin. Fluconazole is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Ivermectin is an antiparasitic medicine which works by binding to muscle and nerve cells of worms causing their paralysis and death. Together they treat your infection effectively.

Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water to overcome medicine side effects. It may cause dizziness. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how Flumectin Tablet affects you. Inform your doctor if you experience itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.
