Short Description

Fludara Injection is used to treat blood cancer called chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and may be used with other medicines as part of combination chemotherapy.

Introduction

Fludara Injection is given as an infusion into veins under the supervision of a doctor. The dose and frequency of administration will depend on the condition being treated and may change over time. It is important to take the medicine exactly as prescribed and not to stop taking it unless advised by a doctor. The medicine may take several weeks or months to show its effects. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, weakness, fever, and cough. Regular blood tests are required to monitor blood cell counts, heart, liver, and blood uric acid levels.

Fludara Injection is an anticancer medication that works by interfering with the growth of genetic material (DNA and RNA) of cancer cells in blood, slowing the growth of cancer cells and eventually killing them.
