Flucos Gel is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. The affected area should be clean and dry before application of the medicine. Wash your hands before and after applying the medicine. If you have athlete's foot, wash your socks or tights thoroughly and change your shoes daily if possible. Tell your doctor if the infection does not get better or if it gets worse.

Flucos Gel is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, and fungal nappy rash. It can also relieve irritation of the vulva (external thrush) and irritation occurring at the end of the penis which may be associated with thrush.
Flucos Gel is effective against Trichophyton species, responsible for ringworm infection, athlete's foot, and jock itch. It is also effective against the yeast Candida, which commonly causes vaginal thrush (infection caused by overgrowth of yeast called Candida albicans).
Before applying Flucos Gel, clean and dry the affected area. Gently massage it into the skin thoroughly. Avoid getting the medication in your eyes or mouth. If you accidentally get it in your eyes, rinse with plenty of water and contact your doctor if your eyes are irritated.
Symptoms like itching or soreness should improve within a few days. However, signs such as redness and scaling may take longer to disappear. Do not stop applying the medicine before the duration advised by your doctor, even if you feel better.
Avoid getting Flucos Gel into your eyes or mouth. If it gets in your eyes, rinse with plenty of water immediately and contact your doctor. Do not use Flucos Gel if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients. Tell your doctor about any allergic reactions you experience while using it for the first time. Inform your doctor if you are taking any regular medicines as this may lead to an adverse reaction.
The duration of treatment depends on the type of infection. In general, treatment for tinea infections is continued for one month while treatment for Candida infections is at least for 15 days. Do not stop treatment on your own even if you feel better because the infection may come back as it takes some time to kill the fungus.
Flucos Gel is only safe for children when used according to a doctor's instructions. It should be given to children in the correct dosage and for the prescribed length of time. Minor side effects may occur but they are usually not bothersome. However, if you experience a burning sensation, redness, or itching (which is severe), stop the medicine and contact your doctor.
Keep the affected skin areas clean and dry. Avoid excessive rubbing; scratching may worsen the infection. Do not share towels, bath mats, etc., with other people as this could spread the infection to others.
Flucos Gel may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives like diaphragms and condoms. If you are using the cream on your vulva or penis, you should use alternative methods of contraception for at least 5 days after applying Flucos Gel.
