Fluanxit ES 0.5mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of Flupenthixol and Escitalopram Oxalate used in the treatment of schizophrenia. It helps manage hallucinations and delusions by altering thoughts and elevating mood. Common side effects include dry mouth, vomiting, stomach upset, delayed ejaculation, sedation, urinary retention, low sexual desire, muscle rigidity, restlessness, and tremors. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so avoid driving or activities requiring mental focus. Consult your doctor for any abnormal movements or persistent side effects. Avoid alcohol as it can worsen drowsiness.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
