The medicine should be taken as advised by your doctor, with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Common side effects include nausea, stomach pain, and diarrhea, which usually resolve on their own. However, if these side effects persist or if you experience severe allergic reactions such as rash, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, or breathing problems, seek medical attention immediately. Inform your doctor if you have a history of kidney disease.
